HOW IT WORKS
Planning a Marbella hen weekend - how the process works
Every Marbella hen weekend we plan is bespoke — built from scratch around your group's size, budget, dates, and what the bride actually wants. There are no fixed packages and no pressure to choose from a limited list. You tell us what you're after and we come back with a proposal that works for your specific group.
The process is straightforward. You get in touch with your dates, your approximate group size, and a rough idea of what kind of weekend you have in mind. We come back with villa options, suggested activities, and an honest cost breakdown. You don't commit to anything at that stage — the proposal is free and comes with no obligation.
Once you're happy with the proposal, the group leader pays a £100 deposit to secure the booking. From there, we handle every booking with every supplier. You have one point of contact — us — for the entire weekend.
GOOD TO KNOW
You don't need to have everything decided before you get in touch. Rough numbers and a general sense of what the bride would love is enough to get started. Group size almost always changes during the planning process — that's completely normal and we build around it.
WHAT IT COSTS
How much does a Marbella hen weekend cost per person?
The honest answer is anywhere from £350 to £900+ per person depending on group size, villa, time of year, and how much you pack into the weekend. The single most powerful lever on per-person cost is group size — more people means a lower villa cost per head, and that saving compounds across everything else.

£100 group leader deposit holds the villa. Each member pays their own £50 share deposit separately.
From £350 per person
Private villa, one activity, one night out
A brilliant weekend for larger groups or shoulder season dates. The villa economics work hardest here — groups of 15+ sharing a well-chosen villa often spend less per person than people expect.
£550–£600
per person
Most popular range — villa, boat, beach club, night out
Where most groups land. A complete weekend that covers everything — private villa, catamaran day, beach club, dinner, and a proper night out in Puerto Banús.
£600+
per person
Yacht charter, multiple beach clubs, private chef, VIP everything
Larger or more exclusive villas, the Ultimate Hen Yacht Experience, Nikki Beach and Ocean Club, private chef dining, and full VIP nightlife from start to finish.
HONEST ADVICE
Tell us your real per-person budget when you enquire. Groups that share a clear number get proposals that work from the first version. Groups that don't share a budget get proposals built on assumptions — which usually means several rounds of revision before anything is confirmed.

WHEN TO BOOK
When should you book a Marbella hen weekend - and when is it too late?
A year out is the right time for any group planning a peak summer weekend with 15 or more people. Not early. Not excessive. Right. We get enquiries in February for the following May — and those groups get first choice of every villa, every boat date, and every beach club slot. Groups who start in April for July get what's left.
Book Now - Peak Summer & Large Groups
The full villa collection is open. Every boat date is available. The best options at every size are yours to choose from. For groups of 15+ planning July, August, or May — this is the window.
Still in Good Shape — Move Now
Strong choices across the collection. For shoulder season this is comfortable. For peak summer, six months is a firm deadline — not a generous window.
Move This Week — Not Next
Workable for non-peak dates with groups under 15. For peak summer you're already feeling the consequences. Move today.
Get in Touch Anyway
Options narrow significantly but last-minute availability exists — particularly for activities and nightlife. We'll tell you honestly what's achievable.
MOST MISSED FACT
May books as fast as July. A large proportion of UK weddings happen between July and October, which puts the hen weekend in late spring. Treat May like peak summer — a year out is right, six months is the minimum, three months is late.

THE VILLA
Choosing the right villa - why it mattes more than anything else
The villa is the foundation of the whole weekend. Not the accommodation — the foundation. It's where the group wakes up, eats together, gets ready together, and comes back to after every activity. The groups who choose their villa carefully have better weekends. Full stop.
Every villa in our collection has been personally vetted by our Marbella-based team. We've been inside every property we recommend. We know which ones look better in photos than in person, and we only list the ones that genuinely deliver for hen groups.
Our collection at a glance
16 villas across two locations — Puerto Banús and Elviria — sleeping 12 to 23 guests. For larger groups we can combine villas within the same complex.
✓Puerto Banús — walking distance from the marina, beach clubs, and nightlife. For groups who want to be in the middle of everything.
✓Elviria — east of Marbella, more relaxed and residential. For groups who want space and privacy alongside a brilliant weekend.
✓Every villa has a private pool exclusively for your group — no shared facilities, no strangers.
✓Multiple bathrooms, outdoor dining, generous terrace space — chosen specifically because they work for groups.
✓For groups over 23 we can combine villas within the same complex.
KEY DECISIONS
Secure the villa before you confirm anything else. It's the one element that cannot be replaced once it's gone. Activities, restaurants, and nightlife can all be adjusted — the villa cannot. Book it first.
ACTIVITIES & EXPERIENCES
What to do on a Marbella hen weekend - the honest guide
The best Marbella hen weekends are built around three core experiences — a private villa, a boat charter, and a beach club day — with the rest of the weekend filled in around them. Each of the three deserves its own day. Trying to combine a boat and a beach club on the same day means you've done neither thing properly.
The Boat
Ask any group what the highlight of their Marbella hen weekend was and the answer is almost always the boat. A private charter from Puerto Banús marina — your group, the Mediterranean, and a full day on open water. We have seven charter options from the budget Float & Fizz cruise to the Ultimate Hen Yacht Experience. Every charter is private — your group has the vessel exclusively.
The Beach Club
Marbella has some of the best beach clubs in Europe — and they're not all the same. Kova's Sunday Bottomless Brunch is our most consistently booked experience: four hours, bottomless cocktails, sharing food, live DJ, beds included. Ocean Club for the iconic party atmosphere. Nikki Beach for glamour and the world-famous setting. La Sala By The Sea for a more relaxed, beautiful day. Ten clubs in our collection — the right one depends on your group's vibe.
The Villa Experiences
The villa itself is a venue, not just accommodation. Themed party packages, private chefs, cocktail masterclasses, cheeky butlers, cava walls, paint and sip sessions — all delivered to your villa by our vetted suppliers. Browse the full range:

HOW IT FITS TOGETHER
What does a Marbella hen weekend actually look like?
Most groups come for three or four nights. The rhythm that works almost every time: arrive Thursday or Friday, settle into the villa, villa evening. Day two — boat charter, day three — beach club, nights out from there. That's a weekend that gives every experience room to breathe without anything feeling rushed.
Arrival Day — Villa Evening
Arrive, check in, villa party package or cava wall on arrival. Drinks on the terrace, dinner at the villa or out in Puerto Banús. The weekend begins.
The Boat
Villa morning, marina by midday. Private charter — three to four hours on the Mediterranean. Swim stops, catering on board, back by late afternoon. Night out from the villa.
The Beach Club
Villa morning, beach club from midday. Five to six hours — reserved beds, drinks service, DJ. Back to the villa by early evening to get ready. The big night out.
Sunday — Slow Morning, Checkout
Full English or sparkling brunch at the villa. Pool until checkout. Checkout typically 11am, flights home from Málaga.
REAL ITINERARY
Secure the villa before you confirm anything else. It's the one element that cannot be replaced once it's gone. Activities, restaurants, and nightlife can all be adjusted — the villa cannot. Book it first.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
How deposits and payments work
All payments are taken in GBP through our secure payment system. No currency conversion, no foreign transaction fees. Here's exactly how it works:
✓ £100 group leader deposit — paid by the organiser to secure the booking. This holds the villa and locks in the dates.
✓ £50 share deposit per group member — each member pays their own share deposit separately through our system. No chasing, no spreadsheets.
✓ Final balance due 6 weeks before arrival — standard for most bookings. Some villas have their own payment terms — always set out clearly in your proposal.
✓ Supplier deposits — certain villas and boat charters require their own deposit separate from our standard structure. Where this applies it is always set out clearly in your proposal before you commit to anything.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Common questions about planning a Marbella hen weekend
How far in advance should we book?
For peak summer dates — July, August, or May — a year in advance is right. We get enquiries in February for the following May every season and those groups get first choice of everything. For shoulder season, six months is comfortable. See our full booking timeline guide.
Do we need to have everyone confirmed before enquiring?
No — and you shouldn't wait until you do. Rough numbers are enough. Group size almost always changes during planning. Enquire with your best estimate and we build around it.
How much does a Marbella hen weekend cost per person?
From £350 per person for a villa, one activity, and a night out with a larger group. Most groups land at £550–£600 — villa, boat, beach club, and a proper night out. £600+ covers yachts, multiple beach clubs, private chefs, and full VIP. See our full cost guide.
Do you do fixed packages or is everything bespoke?
Everything is bespoke. Every weekend is planned from scratch around your specific group — there are no fixed packages. You tell us what you want and we build around it.
Can we do a beach club and boat on the same day?
We recommend against it. Both experiences are better when they have the full day. A boat that ends at 5pm followed by a beach club that's winding down doesn't do justice to either. Give each its own day.
Is Marbella better value than Ibiza for a hen weekend?
For most groups, yes. Flights from UK airports to Málaga are typically shorter and cheaper. The private villa model works particularly well in Marbella. Beach clubs and nightlife are comparable in quality but often at lower minimum spends. And the season runs April to October — longer and more reliable.
What is the weather like in Marbella for a hen weekend?
Marbella has over 300 days of sunshine a year. May through October is reliably warm and sunny — peak summer averages 30°C+. April and October are slightly cooler but still genuinely beautiful. Rain during hen season is rare.
How do we get from Málaga Airport to Marbella?
Málaga Airport is approximately 40 minutes from Puerto Banús by taxi or transfer. We can arrange private group transfers as part of your weekend — just mention it when you enquire.
