How Much Does a Marbella Hen Weekend Cost Per Person?

It's the question every organiser types before anything else — and the one that almost nobody answers properly. Search "Marbella hen weekend cost" and you'll find vague ranges, deliberately obscure pricing, and a lot of "get in touch for a quote" with nothing useful behind it.

This post answers it directly. Real cost ranges broken down by what you actually get, based on the weekends we plan here in Puerto Banús every week.

Two things worth knowing before you read the numbers. Everything is priced on enquiry — we don't publish fixed prices because group size, villa choice, and the combination of activities changes costs significantly. But the ranges below are accurate for 2026, and they're honest. And if the numbers look different from what you expected, this post will show you exactly what's driving them and how to shape the weekend around what matters most to your group.

What Does a Marbella Hen Weekend Actually Cost?

Anywhere from £350 to £900+ per person depending on group size, villa, time of year, and what you want to do while you're there.

Here's the shape of it before we get into the detail:

From £350 per person — a private villa split across a large group, one or two activities, one night out. A genuinely brilliant weekend for the right group.

£550–£600 per person — the range where most groups land. Villa, boat, beach club, a proper night out. This is what most organisers mean when they say they want to do Marbella properly.

£600 and above — larger or more exclusive villa, yacht charter, multiple beach club days, private chef, VIP nightclub bookings. The full Marbella experience.

The rest of this post breaks down exactly what sits inside each range and — more importantly — what drives the cost up or down so you can shape your weekend around your group rather than just picking a number.

From £350 Per Person — What This Actually Looks Like

The most important thing to say about this range upfront: it has nothing to do with a lesser weekend. A group of 20 friends going in September, splitting a well-chosen villa, with a catamaran day and a night at Linekers, will have an extraordinary time. The per-person cost comes down to two things above all else — group size and travel dates. Get those right and Marbella is genuinely more affordable than most people expect.

The Villa — Where the Economics Are Made

The villa is the biggest single cost of any Marbella hen weekend and the most powerful lever for per-person cost is group size. A villa sleeping 18 to 20 people costs significantly less per person than the same quality villa split across 10. If your group can get to 15 or more, the numbers start working seriously in your favour.

Our smaller villas start from Villa Liora sleeping 12, up to Villa Celeste sleeping 23. The larger the group, the lower the per-person villa cost — and that saving compounds across everything else in the weekend.

One Activity That Earns Its Place

Most groups in this range choose one main activity rather than two or three. The VIP All-Inclusive Catamaran Party is the right choice for most — private for your group, genuinely all-inclusive (water, soft drinks, beer, a bottle of bubbly per hour, snacks, paddle surf, kayak, snorkel), and consistently the moment groups mention first when they look back on the weekend. Getting one activity absolutely right matters more than spreading the budget across three average ones.

One Night Out Done Properly

Linekers VIP Hen Party Bar sits comfortably in this range — roped-off VIP area, personalised plasma screen with the bride's name and up to 15 photos, dedicated male waiter, bubbly on arrival, and €25 drinks credit per person. A genuinely special evening without the full nightclub bottle spend.

Food at the Villa

Rather than booking restaurants every evening, most groups at this level eat at the villa for the majority of meals. A grocery and drinks delivery to the villa before arrival handles that without anyone having to do a supermarket run on arrival day. A Full English Breakfast or Continental Breakfast delivered to the villa the morning after a big night is consistently one of the most appreciated moments of the whole weekend and costs less than most groups expect.

What Travel Dates Do to This Range

The same villa, the same activities, and the same night out in September will cost meaningfully less than in July. If your dates have any flexibility, shoulder season — April, June, September, early October — is where the value sits. The weather in September is excellent, every venue is still open, and the crowds are thinner. Groups who time their weekend right in this range often end up with a weekend that punches well above what the per-person cost suggests.

£550–£600 Per Person — Where Most Groups Land

This is the most popular range and it's popular for a reason. At £550–£600 per person you can do the weekend properly — private villa, boat, beach club, a real night out — without the financial pressure that creates awkwardness in the group. It's also the range where the weekend starts to feel complete rather than edited.

Photorealistic photograph of a hen party group of ten women sitting along the edge of a luxury private pool in Marbella Spain. One woman in the centre wears a white swimsuit and a silver bridal crown. The rest of the group wear matching black swimsuits. All are holding colourful cocktails and laughing together. Rose gold BRIDE TO BE balloon letters hang behind them against the white rendered villa exterior. Bright Mediterranean sunshine, warm natural light, shallow depth of field. Shot on 35mm, candid documentary style, no posed stiffness. Pool water is vivid turquoise. Lush tropical planting visible at the edges of the frame. Warm golden tones throughout.

The Villa

At this level you have access to the full villa collection without the per-person maths requiring a very large group. Villas like Villa Siena (sleeps 18), Villa Aurelia (sleeps 15), Villa Eleni (sleeps 18), and Villa Luminara (sleeps 14) all work comfortably for groups of 12 to 18.

The Boat

The VIP All-Inclusive Catamaran Party features in almost every weekend we plan at this level. For groups who want something with a specific aesthetic, the Cheeky Catamaran — Pink Instagram Edition adds a cheeky butler, coordinated sailor hats, and photo props for the most Instagram-ready boat day on the Costa del Sol.

The Beach Club

The Kova Beach Club Sunday Bottomless Brunch is the most popular beach club choice at this level — four hours, bottomless cocktails and mocktails, beer, cava, house wines, house spirits, hot and cold sharing dishes, DJ throughout. One fixed cost per person that covers almost everything for the afternoon. Available Sundays only, which is exactly why we build the itinerary around it from the start. Ocean Club Marbella VIP beds sit towards the top end of this range for groups who want the iconic setting over the set brunch format.

A Proper Night Out

Kova 3-Course Dining & Tibu Entry for dinner, Linekers VIP for pre-club drinks, Tibu for the night. Dinner, bar, club — the complete evening that most groups mention on the flight home.

One Villa Experience

At this level there's usually room for one villa experience on top of the core activities — a villa party package on arrival day, a cocktail station by the pool, or a cava welcome wall when the group arrives. These make the villa feel like an experience rather than just the place you sleep between activities.

The Most Common Mistake at This Level

Groups sometimes try to add one more activity than the budget comfortably holds — a second beach club day, an additional restaurant dinner, villa entertainment on top of everything else — and push the per-person cost into the next range without realising it. We flag this when we put a proposal together. But it's worth deciding your priorities before you enquire so we can build around them from the start.

£600 and Above — The Full Marbella Experience

At this level the weekend is built around the top of every category. The villa is larger or more exclusive, the boat is a yacht, there are multiple beach club days, a private chef comes to the villa, and every venue booking is VIP from start to finish.

The Villa

Villa Zafira (sleeps 21), Villa Soleil (sleeps 19), Villa Calista (sleeps 20), Villa Celeste (sleeps 23). Larger groups at this level often find the per-person villa cost is more reasonable than smaller groups expect — because the villa size scales with the group rather than being a fixed cost spread thin.

The Boat

The Ultimate Hen Yacht Experience rather than the catamaran. Private charter, professional crew, the full Mediterranean experience. For groups where the type of vessel matters and the boat is the centrepiece of the weekend, this is the right choice.

Multiple Beach Club Days

Nikki Beach one day, Ocean Club another. The two days serve different purposes — different atmospheres, different vibes, different parts of the weekend. The Floating Hen Spa Cruise also sits naturally at this level for groups who want something different on the water alongside the yacht day.

Private Chef at the Villa

A Live Paella Cooking & Spanish Tapas afternoon at the villa, a Villa BBQ Feast, or a full private chef dinner — at least one villa dining experience turns the villa into the best meal of the weekend rather than just the place you sleep between activities.

Full Nightlife

Kova Night Time Bottomless Brunch with Tibu Entry, Tibu VIP Bottles, and the full Linekers experience. No gaps, no compromises.

Villa Entertainment

A cheeky butler by the pool, DJ hire for the evening, or a fully themed villa party package — at least one villa entertainment element makes the space feel like an event in itself rather than just accommodation.

What Actually Drives the Cost Up or Down

Understanding the variables matters as much as the ranges themselves. These are the four factors that move the per-person cost more than anything else.

Group Size

The single most powerful lever. Every additional person in your group reduces the per-person cost of the villa — which is the largest fixed cost of the weekend. Groups of 15 or more consistently get better value per person than smaller groups, even when booking the same quality of villa and the same activities. If you're currently planning for 12 and could realistically get to 15 or 16, the per-person saving across the villa alone is significant.

Time of Year

May, July, and August are peak season. Villa prices are highest, beach clubs are at their most in-demand, and boat charters fill fastest. April, June, September, and early October offer the same quality experience at lower costs in most cases — and September in particular is consistently underrated. The weather is excellent, every venue is still open, the crowds are thinner, and the prices are softer. If your dates have any flexibility, this is where it pays to use it.

How Far in Advance You Book

Large villas sleeping 18 or more are often reserved 10 to 12 months ahead for peak summer. Groups that leave it late end up paying more for a less suitable villa because the right ones are gone. Booking early protects you from that — and gives you more time to collect deposits from the group without pressure. For the full picture on timing read our Marbella hen weekend booking timeline guide.

How Many Activities You Stack

The villa and flights are fixed costs. Everything else scales with what you choose. One activity, one night out, and mostly villa time sits at the lower end of the ranges above. Stack in a beach club, a restaurant dinner, villa entertainment, and a second activity and you move up meaningfully. Decide your priorities before you enquire — we'll build the proposal around them rather than adding everything and sending you a number that doesn't work.

What's Not Included in These Ranges

Flights. We don't book flights. Return flights from UK airports to Málaga typically run from £80 to £250 per person depending on when you book and which airport you fly from. Book these early — they're the most price-sensitive element of the trip. Málaga Airport is around 40 minutes from Puerto Banús.

Personal spending. Additional drinks above included packages, shopping, taxis during the trip, and anything personal to individual group members.

Travel insurance. Essential and not included. Every group member should have it — particularly cancellation cover.

Should You Share Your Budget With Us?

Yes — and be honest about it. This is the single piece of advice that makes the most practical difference to how useful the proposal we send back actually is.

Groups that share their real per-person budget get proposals that are realistic and achievable from the first version. Groups that don't share a budget get proposals built on assumptions — which usually means two or three rounds of revision before anything is confirmed.

There's no number that makes a great Marbella hen weekend impossible. There are choices that affect what's achievable — and we'll always tell you honestly what those are rather than building a proposal you can't afford and working backwards from there.

How the Deposit and Payment System Works

The group leader pays a £100 deposit to secure the booking. For certain villas and boat charters, a larger deposit may be required to hold the supplier — we'll always make this clear upfront before you commit to anything. Each group member then pays their own £50 share deposit separately through our payment system. No chasing, no spreadsheets.

The standard final balance is due six weeks before arrival. Some villas have their own payment terms — we'll always set these out clearly in your proposal so every member of the group knows exactly what is due and when.

All payments are taken in GBP. No currency conversion, no foreign transaction fees.

Is Marbella Better Value Than Ibiza for a Hen Weekend?

For most groups, yes — and meaningfully so. Flights from UK airports to Málaga are typically shorter and cheaper than to Ibiza. The private villa model works particularly well in Marbella because the supply of quality group villas is larger. Beach clubs and nightlife are comparable in quality but often at lower minimum spends. The season runs from April through October — longer and more reliable than Ibiza. And nothing is hidden in package markups because everything we plan is bespoke.

Frequently Asked Questions About Marbella Hen Weekend Costs

How much does a Marbella hen weekend cost per person? It depends on your group size and what you want to do. From £350 per person you can have a genuinely brilliant weekend — private villa, catamaran, one night out — particularly with a larger group or a shoulder season date. Most groups land in the £550–£600 range with a villa, boat, beach club day, and a proper night out. £600 and above covers larger villas, yacht charters, private chefs, and multiple experiences. The villa split across a large group often makes Marbella more affordable than people expect.

Is Marbella expensive for a hen do? Less than its reputation suggests — particularly for groups. A large private villa split across 16 to 20 people often costs less per person than a hotel room in a popular UK city. Activities are priced comparably to Ibiza or Mykonos, and flights from most UK airports are under three hours. Marbella consistently delivers better value than groups expect when it's planned well.

What is the most cost-effective way to plan a Marbella hen weekend? Book as large a group as you can manage — more people means a lower villa cost per person. Travel in April, June, or September rather than peak summer. Prioritise one or two activities that really matter to your group rather than spreading the budget across five average ones. Eat at the villa for most meals and save the restaurant booking for the night out. These four choices together make the biggest difference to per-person cost without compromising the quality of the weekend.

Does villa hire include meals? No. Villa hire includes the property, pool, and standard amenities. Food is not included unless you book a private chef or villa dining experience separately. Most groups arrange a grocery delivery to the villa before arrival for most meals — we can organise this through our arrival extras.

How do group members pay their share? Each group member pays their own £50 share deposit and final balance separately through our payment system. The organiser is not responsible for collecting money from the group — no spreadsheets, no chasing.

What happens if someone drops out? Cancellations 61 days or more before arrival receive a full refund of deposits paid. Between 45 and 60 days, 50% is refunded. Within 44 days, deposits are non-refundable. Travel insurance with trip cancellation cover is strongly recommended for every group member.

When is the best time to tell the group what the budget is? Before you enquire with us. Getting a clear per-person range agreed across the group first means the proposal we send back is immediately usable rather than needing revision because expectations weren't aligned. The earlier the budget conversation happens within the group, the smoother everything after it goes.
