Marbella hen party restaurants guide Puerto Banus group dining

A good meal is one of the things that most consistently gets mentioned when hen groups look back on their Marbella weekend. Not always the obvious ones — not the boat or the beach club. The dinner at Leone with the marina lit up outside. The Kova brunch that turned into a three-hour afternoon. The Oak Firehouse feast before the night out that meant nobody was flagging at midnight.

Puerto Banus has some of the best group dining in Spain. The venues listed here are not tourist restaurants. They are places that Marbella regulars come back to, that understand what a hen group needs, and that consistently deliver — reserved tables, proper service, and food worth talking about.

This guide covers every restaurant option we offer for hen groups in Puerto Banus, what each one includes, and how to choose the right one for your group and your itinerary.

For the complete picture of every marbella hen do ideas available across the whole weekend, the full guide covers everything in one place.

Why Dining Matters on a Marbella Hen Weekend

Most hen weekends are planned around the headline experiences — the boat, the beach club, the night out. The restaurant often gets less thought, and groups that do not plan it properly tend to regret it.

A group of 15 or 20 cannot just walk into a good restaurant in Puerto Banus on a Saturday evening. The best tables go to groups with confirmed reservations months in advance. The venues that can seat a large group together, handle dietary requirements, and deliver the service a hen occasion deserves are not the ones with empty tables at 8pm.

More practically: the meal sets the tone for everything that follows. A group that sits down to a proper dinner together — properly fed, properly watered, unhurried — arrives at Linekers or Tibu in a completely different state to a group that grabbed food in shifts or skipped dinner entirely. The night out is better. The whole evening is better.

La Sala — Three Options for Every Group and Occasion

La Sala hen party restaurant Puerto Banus Marbella

La Sala is consistently one of the most requested restaurants for Marbella hen weekends, and it is not hard to see why. The location is ideal — right in Puerto Banus, steps from the marina and close enough to Linekers and Tibu that the evening flows naturally from dinner to night out without long transfers. The atmosphere is lively but not chaotic. And it has three different package options, which means it works for groups at different price points and at different points in the weekend.

La Sala Bottomless Brunch Bash

The daytime option. Two hours of bottomless Bucks Fizz and orange juice with a brunch menu. Best used as a midweek daytime experience or on a morning when the group wants something sociable before heading to a beach club or activity in the afternoon. It is not an evening package — it is a relaxed, celebratory way to spend a couple of hours that does not require anyone to be in party mode.

La Sala Early Bird 2 Course

Two courses with a welcome glass of cava. The most straightforward option for groups who want a proper dinner without committing to a full bottomless package. An optional two-hour open bar upgrade is available — the Standard Open Bar includes unlimited beer, cava, wine, and soft drinks; the Premium Open Bar adds cocktails including Cosmopolitan, Bellini, Aperol Spritz, Raspberry Martini, and Sex on the Beach. Good value for groups who want dinner done properly before a big night.

La Sala Hen Party Set Menu & Drinks

The most popular La Sala option for hen groups. A welcome glass of cava, two courses, and half a bottle of wine per person. The same open bar upgrade is available. The right call for groups who want a proper set dinner with included drinks and the option to extend the drinks package if the group wants it. The open bar upgrade is worth doing for groups heading straight to Linekers after dinner — the evening runs more smoothly when everyone has had a good meal and consistent drinks rather than some people drinking more than others at dinner.

Kova — Dinner and Tibu in One Booking

Kova dinner hen party Puerto Banus Tibu nightclub

Kova is the most complete evening package we offer. Both options include entry to Tibu nightclub, which means the evening goes from the dinner table to the club in a single booking with no logistics gap in between. For groups who want to do dinner and a night out in one coordinated package, Kova is the obvious choice.

Kova 3-Course Dining & Tibu Entry

A starter, main, and dessert per person, with half a bottle of wine or two small beers each. A proper three-course dinner — not a set menu designed to be rushed — with Tibu entry included as standard. Dinner finishes around 10pm, the group walks to Linekers from 11pm, and arrives at Tibu at midnight. The whole evening is pre-planned and pre-booked. Nobody is making decisions on the street at 10.30pm.

Kova Nighttime Bottomless Brunch with Tibu Entry

The same three-course set menu with two hours of unlimited house spirits, wines, beers, and soft drinks. The drinks are part of dinner rather than in addition to it. More expensive than the 3-Course Dining option but it covers the drinking from dinner through to the club in a single booking. For groups who want the drinks to flow freely from 8pm and do not want to manage a separate bar tab at dinner, this is the right call.

Both Kova options include Tibu entry and are available on the restaurants and dining page.

Leone — Waterfront Dining on the Marina

Leone waterfront restaurant hen party Puerto Banus marina

Leone sits directly on the Puerto Banus marina front line. The setting is the thing here — the boats in the marina, warm evenings, the kind of view that makes a dinner feel like more of an occasion than a meal. Leone suits groups who want something slightly more elevated, or who want the waterfront atmosphere that La Sala and Kova do not offer in the same way.

Leone 2-Course Waterfront Marina Dinner

A two-course set menu on the marina waterfront. Clean, well-executed, and the right format for a group that wants a proper sit-down dinner in a beautiful setting without the full bottomless package. Good choice for the evening before a beach club day when the group wants a relatively early night, or for groups who have already done bottomless elsewhere in the weekend.

Leone Bottomless Brunch

A welcome fruit platter, one main dish per person, a shared dessert board, and unlimited drinks for ninety minutes. Two drinks options: the Marina Fizz Package with unlimited cava, mimosas, Bloody Marys, and espresso martinis, or the Moët Marina Upgrade with unlimited Moët Chandon Brut. The Moët upgrade is worth it for groups who want something genuinely special — ninety minutes of unlimited Moët on the Puerto Banus waterfront is hard to beat as a hen weekend moment.

Oak Firehouse — A Proper Feast Before the Night Out

Oak Firehouse hen party dinner Puerto Banus Marbella

Oak Firehouse is the most distinctive restaurant in the collection. Where La Sala, Leone, and Kova are marina-setting venues with a certain Puerto Banus glamour, Oak Firehouse is about the food. Proper firehouse cooking — premium steaks, slow-cooked ribs, quality ingredients — in a lively atmosphere that suits groups who want a genuine feast rather than a delicate set menu.

The 2-Course Feast includes a welcome glass of cava, two courses with a starter and a premium main, and a side included. The mains include fillet steak burger, full rack of BBQ ribs, sirloin steak, grilled half chicken, and slow-braised veal osso buco. Food and drinks are available to order throughout.

Oak Firehouse works best as pre-night-out dinner for groups who want to be properly fed before a big night. After a boat day or beach club day, a group that has been outside in the sun for six hours needs more than a light set menu. Oak Firehouse fills that gap — serious food, lively atmosphere, and everyone leaves satisfied rather than just topped up.

How to Choose the Right Restaurant for Your Hen Weekend

The right restaurant depends on two things: what time of day you are eating, and what comes before and after it.

For a daytime brunch (before a beach club or afternoon activity):

  • La Sala Bottomless Brunch Bash — relaxed, sociable, two hours

  • Leone Bottomless Brunch — more elevated, waterfront, unlimited Moët upgrade available

For dinner before a night out:

  • Kova 3-Course Dining & Tibu Entry — best overall choice if the group is heading to Tibu — dinner and club in one booking

  • Kova Nighttime Bottomless Brunch & Tibu Entry — same but with unlimited drinks at dinner

  • La Sala Hen Party Set Menu — strong alternative if the group wants dinner before Tibu independently

  • Oak Firehouse — best for groups who want serious food over a set menu format

For a standalone dinner or a quieter evening:

  • Leone 2-Course Waterfront Dinner — the most elegant option, marina setting

  • La Sala Early Bird 2 Course — good value, open bar upgrade available

One practical point: for groups doing Kova for the Sunday Bottomless Brunch beach club experience, we recommend a different restaurant for dinner that evening to avoid Kova appearing twice in the same day. La Sala or Leone work well as the evening option on a day that started at Kova.

Booking and What to Expect

All restaurant bookings are handled as part of your proposal. You do not contact the restaurants separately. We confirm availability, reserve the table, communicate dietary requirements in advance, and coordinate any timing with the rest of your itinerary.

Dietary requirements should be shared with us when you confirm the booking so we can pass them to the venue before your arrival. All restaurants in the collection are experienced with large groups and accustomed to a range of dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, and common allergens.

Minimum group sizes vary by package and restaurant. Most work well from around ten people upwards. We will confirm the minimum for your chosen restaurant in your proposal.

Payment goes directly to us in GBP. We handle the reservation and any deposits with the restaurant. On the day, your table is reserved and everything is arranged — no payments at the door, no currency confusion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need to book a restaurant in advance for a hen group in Marbella?

Yes. The best table positions at the best venues go to groups with confirmed reservations, often months in advance for peak season weekends. A group of 12 or more cannot reliably walk into a good restaurant in Puerto Banus on a Saturday evening without a booking. We handle every reservation as part of your proposal.

Can we combine dinner at a restaurant with a night out at Tibu?

Yes — and it is one of the most popular combinations we book. The Kova 3-Course Dining and Tibu Entry package covers both in a single booking. Alternatively, dinner at La Sala or Oak Firehouse followed by Linekers and then Tibu is a slightly longer evening with more variety. We coordinate the timings across all three stops so the evening builds naturally.

What is the difference between the La Sala and Leone bottomless brunch options?

La Sala Bottomless Brunch Bash includes two hours of unlimited Bucks Fizz and orange juice with a brunch menu — a more casual, value-focused option. Leone Bottomless Brunch is ninety minutes but with a higher quality drinks selection including the Moët upgrade, a welcome fruit platter, a main, and a shared dessert board. Leone suits groups who want a more elevated brunch experience; La Sala suits groups who want maximum time and a more relaxed format.

Is there a dress code for restaurants in Puerto Banus?

Smart casual across all venues. Hen accessories, sashes, and matching outfits are welcome — these are venues that regularly host hen groups. Beach wear or very casual clothing is not appropriate for evening sittings. We will always flag any specific requirements when we book.

Can we add a restaurant to our booking after we have confirmed the villa and activities?

Yes. Restaurant bookings can be added at any point before the trip, subject to availability. For peak season weekends we always recommend confirming all dining at the same time as the rest of the booking — availability at the best venues goes quickly and we would rather secure your preferred option early.
