THE COMPLETE GUIDE

Marbella Hen Weekend Itineraries — Real Plans, Real Prices

Every itinerary on this page is built from real client proposals. Real villas, real prices, real day-by-day plans — not estimates, not ranges, not vague ideas. Choose by budget, group size or trip length and see exactly what your weekend looks like.

WHERE TO START

How to Choose the Right Itinerary

Every itinerary on this page is organised three ways — by budget, by trip length, and by group size. The fastest way to find the right one is to decide which matters most to your group and navigate from there.

The one decision that matters most

Budget and group size move together. More people means a lower per-person villa cost — which is the largest fixed cost of any Marbella hen weekend. A group of 20 in the right villa in September can have a better weekend for less per person than a group of 10 in June. Read the full cost guide before choosing an itinerary if you are not sure which range your group sits in.

BY BUDGET

What does your group want to spend?

Budget from £291pp. Mid-range from £433pp. Luxury from £680pp. Each tier has real itineraries with confirmed prices.

BY TRIP LENGTH

How many nights?

3 nights, 4 nights, 5 nights. Each length suits different groups and different budgets. The 4-day itinerary is the most popular.

BY GROUP SIZE

How many in your group?

Group size is the single most powerful lever on per-person cost. Larger groups get better villa economics. Every itinerary states the group size it is built around.

BUDGET ITINERARIES

From £291 Per Person

The boat and beach club need separate days. Groups that try to fit both into the same day do neither properly. A boat that ends at 5pm followed by a beach club that is winding down is not the same experience. Plan them on different days — that is what the itineraries below are built around.

LARGE GROUPS

15 People and Over -  How the Economics Work

The single most important thing to understand about large group Marbella hen weekends: the per-person villa cost drops significantly as the group grows. A group of 20 in the right villa consistently gets a better deal per person than a group of 10 in the same villa.

The large groups itinerary covers everything that changes for groups of 15 to 40 — villa combinations, boat options, logistics, and how to think about pricing at scale.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common questions about Marbella Hen Weekend Itineraries

What to do in Marbella for a hen weekend?

The core of any Marbella hen weekend is built around four experiences: a private villa, a boat charter, a beach club day, and a night out in Puerto Banús. Most groups add villa entertainment on arrival — a DJ, BBQ, cheeky butler or cocktail station — and a restaurant dinner on one of the evenings. The boat and beach club should always be on separate days. Groups that try to combine both into one day consistently report that neither felt complete. Every weekend we plan is built around giving each experience its own day so nothing feels rushed.

Is Marbella expensive for a hen do?

It depends on the group size, the month, and what you want to do. Budget itineraries start from £291pp for 3 nights in March with a private villa, DJ, BBQ and optional beach club day. Mid-range itineraries run from £433pp to £563pp for 3 nights in May or June — typically villa, catamaran, Kova Sunday Bottomless Brunch and a night out. Luxury itineraries start from £680pp for 3 nights in June with the Ultimate Hen Yacht Experience and Ocean Club VIP beds. Marbella is not cheap, but larger groups and shoulder season months like March and September bring the per-person cost down significantly. Every price on this page comes from real client proposals, not estimates.

Where do hen groups stay in Marbella?

Almost all hen groups we plan for stay in a private villa in or around Puerto Banús. A private villa gives the group their own space, their own pool, and a base for villa entertainment like DJs, private chefs and pool parties — none of which works in a hotel. Puerto Banús is the right base because it puts the group within minutes of the marina for boat departures, walking distance of the best restaurants and nightlife, and a short transfer from the beach clubs. All villas in our collection are in Puerto Banús or within a few minutes of it.

What is a reasonable budget for a Marbella hen do?

A realistic starting point is £350-400pp for 3 nights, which covers a private villa, transfers, villa entertainment and one or two activities. Most groups land in the £450-600pp range for 3 nights once a boat charter and beach club day are included. The luxury end — yacht, Ocean Club, villa dining — starts at £680pp for 3 nights. Group size moves the number significantly. A group of 20 in the right villa in September will pay meaningfully less per person than a group of 10 in June for a comparable weekend. Our cost guide covers every tier in full detail.

How many nights should we book for a Marbella hen weekend?

Three nights is the most common choice and works well with a clear plan — one boat day, one beach club day, one night out. Four nights is the most popular length we plan because it gives breathing room between experiences and removes any feeling of rushing. Five nights is for groups who want to do everything, including multiple nights out and a free day to decompress. The difference in cost between 3 and 4 nights is smaller than most groups expect — the villa cost per night drops, and the extra night often costs less than the activities already planned. The 4-day itinerary shows exactly what the extra night adds.

Is 3 nights enough for a Marbella hen weekend?

Yes — if the itinerary is planned properly. Three nights gives you four days: an arrival day with villa entertainment, a full boat day, a full beach club day, and a departure morning. The night out fits on the boat day evening or the beach club day evening depending on the group's energy. Where 3 nights goes wrong is when groups try to add too much — a second night out, a day activity on top of the boat, a restaurant dinner on every evening. The budget and mid-range itineraries on this page are all built around 3 nights and none of them feel squeezed.

How far in advance do you need to book a Marbella hen weekend?

For June, July and August — nine to twelve months in advance. May books just as fast as peak summer and catches most groups out. A group that comes to us in April for July dates typically finds the villa they want is already gone. For large groups of 15 or more, twelve months is not excessive for the right villa in peak season. September is more forgiving — six months is usually comfortable. March and April can often be arranged with less lead time. The full month-by-month booking timeline is at when to book a marbella hen weekend guide.

Is September a good month for a Marbella hen weekend?

Yes — and it is underused by UK hen groups which works in your favour. The full season is open in September: every beach club, every boat, every nightlife venue. The weather is excellent — warm enough for pool days and outdoor evenings throughout the month. Villa prices drop meaningfully compared to peak summer, particularly from mid-September onwards. We compared the same weekend at the same villa for a group of 12 in June and September side by side. Same catamaran, same Kova beach club day, same Linekers VIP night. The saving was £65 per person — £780 across the group — entirely from the villa cost. Full comparison at Hen Weekend Itinerary September.

Are the beach clubs and boats open in September in Marbella?

Yes — everything is fully open throughout September. Kova Sunday Bottomless Brunch runs through September. Ocean Club and La Sala Beach are open. All boat charters including the Ultimate Hen Yacht Experience operate through to the end of September. Linekers, Tibu and Pangea are all running. The season in Marbella does not wind down until October. September is genuinely full season — the only thing that changes is the villa pricing and the crowds, both of which move in your favour.

Should we do the boat and beach club on the same day?

No — and this is the planning decision that affects the overall experience more than any other. A boat charter that finishes at 5pm followed by a beach club that is winding down at 6pm is not the same as giving each its own full day. The Kova Sunday Bottomless Brunch runs 12pm to 8pm and needs its own day to get the full four hours from it. The boat needs a morning start and runs until late afternoon. Groups that combine both report that neither felt complete. Every itinerary on this page is built around keeping the boat and beach club on separate days — it is not a constraint, it is what makes both worth doing.

What beach clubs do hen groups use in Marbella?

The three most popular for hen groups are Kova, Ocean Club and La Sala Beach. Kova Sunday Bottomless Brunch is the most popular choice — it runs from 12pm to 8pm, includes four hours of bottomless cocktails and mocktails, sharing food and a live DJ, and it works for groups of any size. Ocean Club VIP beds suit groups on a luxury budget who want the full high-end beach club experience with dedicated service and a minimum spend. La Sala Beach is a strong option for groups who want a more relaxed atmosphere with quality food alongside the beach club experience. Nikki Beach is well known but is not typically the best fit for hen groups — the atmosphere is more couples and families than group celebrations.

Does a bigger group make a Marbella hen weekend cheaper per person?

Yes — significantly. The villa is the largest fixed cost of any Marbella hen weekend and the per-person cost drops as the group grows. A group of 20 in the right villa pays considerably less per person on accommodation than a group of 10 in the same villa. Activity costs like boat charters and beach clubs are roughly the same per person regardless of group size, so the saving comes almost entirely from the villa economics. A group of 20 in September in the right villa consistently gets a better weekend for less per person than a group of 10 in June. Everything that changes for groups of 15 or more is at Marbella Hen Weekend guide for large groups.

Are the prices on the itineraries real?

Yes. Every price on this page and in the detailed itinerary posts is derived from real client proposals. Villa prices are based on confirmed proposal pricing for the group sizes and months stated. Activity prices are from current supplier rates. Nothing is estimated or rounded for effect. The one caveat is that villa prices vary by specific dates within a month — early June and late June are not identical — and activity prices are updated seasonally. When you enquire we quote for your exact dates, exact group size and exactly what you want to do.

Are there hidden costs in a Marbella hen weekend?

No — and being clear about this upfront is something we feel strongly about. Every proposal we send sets out every cost before any commitment is made. The per-person price in each itinerary includes the villa, all transfers between the villa and every activity, and every supplier booking. There are no booking fees added on top, no admin charges, and no surprises after the proposal is accepted. The only costs that vary after a proposal is agreed are optional additions the group chooses to add. We handle every booking with every supplier directly — there is no third party adding a layer of fees between us and the cost.

Is it bespoke planning or fixed packages?

Bespoke. Every itinerary on this page is an example built from real client proposals — not a fixed package you have to take as written. You can take the villa from the budget itinerary and combine it with the yacht from the luxury itinerary. You can swap the beach club, adjust the group size, add villa entertainment or remove the night out. We build every weekend from scratch around the specific group. The itineraries here show what works at each budget level and trip length — they are starting points, not constraints. To start a bespoke proposal, send us a message.
